The Fox MBA & MS Peer Tutor program is a referral service to connect MBA and MS students with peer tutors. Tutors and students are expected to independently negotiate a mutually agreeable rate for the tutoring services. The MBA & MS Office provides only the communication link between student and tutor. The ares of tutoring assistance are: Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Statistics.
By registering to be a peer tutor you agree to:
1. Allow the MBA & MS Office to review your grade in the discipline\course you would like to tutor. In order to be an eligible peer tutor, you must have earned while at Temple University at least one graduate-level "A" in each discipline/course to tutor a specific course (A- and below do not count).
2. Allow the MBA & MS office to add your name to a tutoring listserv. The listserv will be promoted to students who need tutoring assistance. Students needing a tutor may post a request to the listserv. The tutors may respond directly to the student if they wish to provide tutoring services.
3. This service is strictly between the peer tutor and the student needing assistance. The MBA & MS Office will act only as a connector and will maintain confidentiality regarding tutors’ contact information. Tutors will manage their own tutor rates and meeting times.
If you are interested in helping a fellow Fox School of Business graduate student and making a little income on the side, please complete the form below. The MBA & MS Office will contact you to confirm your eligibility and, if eligible, will enroll you in the Peer Tutoring listserv.
